Labyrinth is a good read especially to those who enjoy history, Grail legends and adventure all wrapped into one. This is where I lament over the fact that I didn't spend more time studying French of French history and geography. Had I done that, keeping up with the names and places would have been so much easier. Turning back to the map in the beginning of the book was just too tedious for my taste.I started reading this book almost a year ago and apparently I wasn't in the right frame of mind, because it took me months to get past the first two hundred pages that laid the groundwork for the rest of the novel, which I devoured in few weeks. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll go and acquaint myself with Occitanian history before I hunt down the next book of the trilogy.
